Care Plus Circle of Friends

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with Care Plus Foundation. No matter if you have a little time or a lot, we have the opportunity for you. In addition to helping those in need, you’ll meet others like you interested in giving back to the community.

Volunteer Opportunities

Donate Birthday and Celebration Bags: Volunteers are needed to create and donate gift bags for kids in our visitation program. Our visitation program provides a safe place for foster children to meet with siblings from whom they have been separated and biological families from which they have been removed.

The Celebration Gift Bags are for foster children being reunited with their biological families. Reunification is a tremendous accomplishment and brings much cause for celebration. Help make the day even more special for these kids by donating a goody bag. The Birthday Bags help these kids celebrate their special birthday day and may be the only gift they receive. 

If this opportunity is of interest to you, we’ll provide you with the gender and ages of our kids and the rest is up to you!

Bake Treats/Donate Meals: Throughout the year, we provide holiday treats/meals (i.e., Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving, December) for visitation hours where foster children meet with siblings from whom they have been separated and biological families from which they have been removed. Volunteers are needed to donate treats/meal items, decorate dining area, donate decorations/tableware.

Special Events: Throughout the year we host a few special events to raise awareness in the community or to raise funds for our programs. At each event we need volunteers to help with set up, sign in, general staffing and clean up.

Organize Community Drive: Coordinate a drive within your workplace, church or synagogue, school, scouting troop, youth group, friends and neighbors.

• Literacy Drive for Children’s Books

• Baby Essentials (formula, diapers, wipes, clothes, baby items, etc.)

• Toy/Game Drive to collect items for Celebration and Birthday Bags

Administrative Support: Filing and scanning records onto microfiche

 Care Plus Ride for Wellness

Each year we host a bike/walk event. This is a great way for individuals, businesses and the entire family to get involved and make a difference.
